Scheduler provides Tags as a method to differentiate between Appointments and match Appointments with Resources. Tags are left as open ended and are up to the discretion of the User. Usually they might represent different Geographic Locations, Skill Sets or Work Types.
Tags are visually distinct by using colours and can be applied on any Appointment or Resource.

Applying Tags

When creating or editing an Appointment, a Tag can be added. This will appear in the top of the modal. Multiple Tags can be applied to a record as required.

New Tags can alsso be created here. In order to create a new Tag, it requires a Label, a Colour (in hex) and a Description (not required field).

See in Figure 1, a Visit is being edited. The first available field is Tags. Here there is the option to apply Tags, edit existing Tags or create new Tags.

In the same way you can apply Tags to Appointments, they can also be assigned to Resources by clicking the 'Edit' button.

See in Figure 4, that now Tags have been applied to both Appointments and Resources, it becomes much clearer what needs to be assigned where.

Filtering by Tags

Appointments can also be filtered by Tag. Axsy Scheduler allows for Conditional Tag Filtering logic with OR and AND statements. This will reduce the number of Appointments viewable in the list. This becomes extremely useful if there are lots of Appointments to be scheduled.

See with the presence of a filter, there is now 1 less Appointment viewable in Figure 6 than in Figure 5.

Viewing Tags outside of Scheduler

Tags can be viewed on all objects outside of Scheduler via a LWC. The LWC needs to be added manually to pages, via the Record Page Lightning App Builder. To launch the Lightning App Builder, select 'Edit Page' on an individual Record Page. On the editor, drag the 'Axsy Scheduler Tag Display' component onto the page. Now Tags can be viewed and added from the Record Page.

Viewing and Adding Tags in Axsy Mobile

Tags can be added to all records in the Axsy Mobile App. These Tags will use the Scheduler Object Tag Link as the Link Object, provided there is not a different Tag Link Object configured in the settings. See on the individual Record Page there is a 'Tags' section. As on the web, Tags can be applied to these records freely.
