NOTE: Before proceeding, ensure your user has the “Axsy Smart Vision Administrator” permission set assigned.
Create & Train a Smart Vision Model
1. Navigate to the Axsy Smart Vision app:

2. Click “New Model” and give your model a meaningful name:

3. To associate product records with the new Smart Vision model, open the model record in a new tab.

4. Navigate to its “Related” tab and click the “New” button next to “Model Products”:

5. Select a product record, and either click “Save”, or “Save & New” to add additional products:

6. To see all products associated with the Smart Vision Model, navigate to the "Products" tab in the Smart Vision app on the web. If a product record has a public image hyperlink in its “Display URL” field, the image will be shown when viewing all products.

NOTE: You may need to add a Trusted URL in Org Setup to ensure that images can be loaded. For example, if product images are stored in a Google Cloud storage bucket, then add a trusted URL for https://storage.googleapis.com.
7. Once there are at least 5 products associated with the model, click “Train Now” to train the first version of the model.

The process may take a few minutes to complete. The purpose of this first model version is to enable mobile users to complete product scans and make corrections, enabling future model versions to be trained with improved accuracy.
Configure Mobile Users for Smart Vision
1. Navigate to the Axsy Mobile app

2. Under the “Settings” tab, start editing a draft app config version, navigate to “Sync”, click the “New” button next to “Record Sets”, and create a new record set for the “Smart Vision Model” SObject.

By default, this will synchronise all Smart Vision models to the mobile app. Additional filter options can be added under record set’s “Query Details” tab to specify a subset of models to sync.
3. Navigate to the record set’s “Related Objects” tab and click the pencil icon next to the “Smart Vision Model” object:

4. Select the “axsy_mobile__Active_Model_Version__r” relationship.

5. Click “Ok”, and verify that the related object shows beneath the model:

6. To ensure that Retail Visit KPIs will be updated with the result of a Smart Vision scan, add & enable the Smart Vision Inventory Check plugin. Navigate to the “Plugins” tab, and click “Add Plugin to Org”. Select “Smart Vision Inventory Check” followed by “Add”.

NOTE: If you do not see the Smart Vision Inventory Check plugin listed, please contact Axsy Support.
7. Once the plugin has been added, click the “Enable Plugin” button:

8. Save & publish the app config version.
9. Verify that Assessment Indicator Definitions are configured with the names “No of Facings” and “Available”, and are associated with the Inventory Check assessment task definition.
Using Axsy Smart Vision
Ensure the Axsy Mobile app users have also installed the Axsy Smart Vision mobile app from the iOS app store.
After logging in to pick up the new configuration version, the Axsy Mobile app will download the latest version of the Smart Vision model, and present an option to launch Smart Vision from within the Inventory Check assessment task. Once a scan is completed and the user returns to the Axsy Mobile app, the facings & available KPIs will be automatically populated.
