When a user logs in to the Axsy Mobile App, the Salesforce objects and records they end up having access to is an intersection of the objects included in the sync configuration specified in the Axsy Config Tool, the user's object-level permissions on Salesforce, and the user's record-level permissions on Salesforce.

Configuring Sync in the Axsy Config Tool

A Salesforce administrator accessing the Axsy Config Tool to configure the Axsy Mobile App's sync configuration will only be able to view objects that they as an individual user have access to, based on their own Salesforce access permissions.

What Happens When a User Has Restricted Permissions

When a mobile user logs in to the app, the app uses the sync configuration to determine what objects and records should be synced to the app. However, if the user logging in has restricted or no permissions for particular objects and/or records included in the sync configuration, those objects and records will not sync to the app for that user. Effectively, this means that the sync configuration - and included objects - represent the maximum amount of data that can be synced to the app, and any restrictions due to Salesforce permissions will be enforced on an individual user basis.
